Sentiment is the debut EP from UK-based music artist SOLLUS. Featuring four tracks of indie and R&B-infused electronica, its a debut that sees SOLLUS - real name Harrison Brown - showcasing his talents in a way that’s unique and well done.

“Each track brings something different,” says Brown. “One track from the EP is indie/electronic and another has a more house/hip-hop feel. I want to keep people guessing as to what I’m going to do next.”

Sentiment begins with the ambient “The Lights”, which features Caralis’ Dan Frau. A track showcasing an indie sound that pairs well with Frau’s vocals, it’s one of Brown’s best showings. It’s followed by the soul and hip-hop-inspired “Bitter Pill”.

Third track “Brand New” brings about an R&B vibe that closes out the EP. Primarily instrumental, it’s the best showcase of Brown’s ability has a producer, with infectious electronics paired with guitar and drums. It’s followed by closing track “Go Back”, which features vocals from Beth Williams. Probably Sentiment’s best showing, it incorporates high-energy instrumentals with Williams’ strong voice. It’s a song one could picture hearing on the radio and is one that’ll leave listeners wanting more.

Speaking about the track, Brown says: “[Williams] has a particularly soulful/RnB feel to her voice and no doubt this is where the song gets its deep but uplifting feel from.”

Overall, Sentiments is a strong debut release for Brown. Featuring four examples of varied and intriguing electronica, it’s an EP that’s sure to grab the attention of many and shoot Brown into the spotlight.
