Emma Blackery to Possibly Miss Rest of Charlie Simpson Tour

Emma Blackery has announced she’ll be missing tomorrow’s scheduled show with Charlie Simpson on account of a throat infection. She’s also stated that she might have to sit out the remainder of her tour with Simpson if her health doesn’t improve. We hope you feel better soon, Emma! You can read a statement from her below.
“Hey guys, long time no chat. I’m currently sitting on my own in a cheap hotel trying not to cry. How melodramatic - how did I get here?
For those of you who follow me closely, you’ll know that since late January, I’ve been on tour with Charlie Simpson, which has been an awesome experience - sadly, over the last three or four days, I’ve developed a throat infection. Despite my doctor telling me I should be on vocal rest… I tried to sing tonight. Important word: tried. I sounded like Bonnie Tyler on crack cocaine.
Sadly, with the pain it causes me to talk, let alone sing, plus the fact I’ve lost control of my voice, I won’t be on the tour tomorrow, and I’m not sure whether or not I’ll be well enough to return. I’m going to try my best and try to heal as much as I can. I’m just so gutted, I feel like I’m letting people down.
For those of you who are not concerned with the tour - I’ll hopefully be returning to YouTube on February 13th, illness permitting. There’s also the launch of my gaming channel (which is something I’m genuinely taking seriously and not shoving my brand all over) at the end of the month/start of March.
I was also supposed to have a video for my lifestyle channel up today, but all I’ve been able to do is sleep and feel sick. I’m really very sorry. I know health is important and that has to come first… but that doesn’t make me feel any less sucky.
I’ll be back. It’ll be good. Just let my throat stop burning.
Emma”
