Vinyl Sales Up 49% In 2014

According to Nielsen, vinyl sales rose 49% in 2014, with 9.7 million records sold. If the trend keeps going the way it is then we can expect 2015 to see a continued increase (or, at least, we can hope). You can read a segment of the report from

“A total of 7.9 million vinyl records were sold through early December, according to Nielsen. That represents year-over-year growth of 49%. Jack White’s "Lazaretto” was the best-selling record of the year, with 75,700 units sold.“
